M3800 AC3 sound through HDMI??

Hi, I am facing a problem regarding playback of AC3 (5.1) sound through the HDMI port...It doesn't give 5.1 ch to my amp instead it plays only on 2ch...I know for sure that the video I am playing has AC3 sound because when I stream it from the M3800 to my PS3 it plays 5.1ch

Any one has any clue??

Dear Sir,

M3800 support AC3 output form SPDIF & HDMI, but system preset audio playback from 1ch, thus the AC5/5.1 audio must at 1CH from the video file.

I'm sorry Yvon but I can not understand what you are saying

Do I need to alter an option in the menus or the file should be encoded differently for ac3 to work?
