n3200pro Beta firmware?

Seeing as the beta downloads folders is now gone from thecus.com, is there any information on when the much needed Mediabolic update will appear for the n3200pro?

Current issues: -

1) Not able to play mp4 suffix files
2) Not able to list more than 10 items in a music folder
3) No control over rescan frequency

Hi Yvon,

Will there be a Mediabolic server update for the N3200 also. The inability to playback *.mp4 files is a pain. An alternative would be to provide on the media server admin page the ability to allow a user to force the server to playback of *.mp4 files.

This Mediabolic server update is becoming more and more crucial, since it's constantly scanning the hard disks for changes in the media, it's quite annoying not to be able to control the rescan frequency. I am thinking of buying a second NAS and currently this situation is pointing me away from Thecus.

this new version of the firmware is a huge FAIL!!!
2 days ago, I discovered this topic decided to upgrade my n3200PRO to see the nsync functionnality and this was a big mistake. The update procedure seems ok, no error everything fine but 2 big problems appears.
The principal one come from the download manager. Before the update, I used it very often but since this stupid upgrade, impossible to add correctly a torrent. I tried with different torrent, different tracker, differents folder with differents right and nothing to do. When I add a torrent in the download manager, everything seem fine, no error or warning. This download appear in the list but impossible to start it. When I click on start, the page was reloaded but the download didn't start. I already lost some hours on it and I don't see any clue.

p.s. to be sure, I came back to factory default conf and reinstall the new firmware and nothing to do. Exactly the same problem for the download

P.S. that's ok, I fix it. I make some modification on the rtorrent configuration which seems really strange.
