    N3200pro Hard Drives

Why the small compatibility list for the N3200Pro and the M3800? I'm looking to get one of these units but there is not a 1.5TB drive on the compatibility list and the 1TB ones are pretty expensive. Unfortunately, cost is a factor for me. There are 1TB drives out there for around $100 and that is what I was hoping to get.

    Re: N3200pro Hard Drives

I had the Samsung Spinpoint F1 with 1TB in my N3200Pro and i had to replace them since they got errors after a few hours. Now i have the Western Digital RE2 GP 1Tb(WD1000FYPS) and they are 5* hard disks, and i have to say, for data storage i prefer to pay extra 20 or 30€ per hard disk and sleep confortably than to pay less and always think "until when are they lasting?".

The Hitachi's appear to be very good - My P7K500's have performed flawlessly, although, they only go up to 1TB at this time.

Thanks for the information. I was going to go with the Samsungs and now I won't. I will have to price out the Hitachi's vs the WD's.
