Cannot migrate 5+1spare to 6 drive raid-5

I try to change my raid from 5 disks plus 1 spare to 6 disks as a raid-5

The options to check the spare drive as a member is greyed out

I am running with XFS disks, on the latest 2.1.8.5 beta, so maybe there is no support to migrate yet?

If I throw a 7th disk in, will it let me add it to the raid?

You should first get rid of the spare.
a) uncheck the spare first
if not possible
b) remove the spare and then reboot, now You should be able to add the 6th disc and the make a raid migration
