By the way, what OS are you running your subversion server on? If it's a linux box, have you tried using NFS instead of samba?

have you heard of a brand of nas that has acl on a subfolder level ?

or i may finally build a samba server myself so i have acl and drop the nas solution.

By the way, this seems to have been fixed in the 3.xx version of the firmware, as far as I can tell.
