    n4100+ Raid 5 Hangs

    My n4100+ will turn on (with The blue light on the box and the 4 blue lights on the drive housings) but it just hangs in that state. The on/off and reset buttons do not respond. No access to NAS whatsoever.

    The problem is it is set up with Raid 5. Does anyone know any solutions? or how to get my data back?

    Dear Sir,

    The N4100+ support RAID HDD roaming, as long as this hanging issue doesn't comr from HDD or the RAID HDDs have no damaged, we could access the RAID5 data from another N4100+, thus we could eject all of HDDs out of N4100+, and try to power up N4100+ without HDD, if this N4100+ can't power successfully and access WEB interface, we could doing reset operation as user's manaual page 68, before contact with your Theucs reseller or distributor for RMA service directly.

    Yes I have tried all the procedures from the manual. The machine doe the same thing with or without HDD installed. The Raid HDD's are not damaged. The Reset/on.off buttons do not respond. The only way to turn off the NAS is to take the power plug out.

    Dear Sir,

    If system hardware have no response, seem this N4100+ need contact with your Thecus reseller or distributor for RMA service, and the N4100+ support RAID roaming, thus we could install into another health N4100+ and access data.
