File copy stops and starts

When I do file copies (via SMB) to & from my N5200BRPro, I will get a good sustained rate of 30/40MBps for about 5 seconds, then it will grind to a near halt (1.5MBps) for a few seconds and then resume the faster rate. Therefore my average transfer is more like 20MBps.

I've tested my network via iperf and I get over 500Mbps, so the network isn't the bottleneck.

Anyone know what's causing the stop-and-start behavior? Thanks.

About the performace delay for few second, please try via other method to verift this issue, as like:
1. Try with FTP.
2. Chosse differnece files.
3. Confirm no other user or service access to your PC & N5200BR PRO in the sametime.
