TVIX M7000 with Thecus N3200PRO

Problem problem and problem.


I bought my thecus mainly to use with TVIX. but having a number of issues. Hope someone can help me.

i can access my NAS from my PC by going to: \\192.168.0.28
very simple and straight forward

however on my tvix i have tried the following settings:

sharename: /media & media
IP: 192.168.0.28
its pinging fine. however nothing appears when trying to connect.

on my thecus i have done the following:

enabled NFS
permission: public
Browse: enabled
Access: anonymous
Both Read and write access


but its not working,
any suggestions ?

Well i got it to work myself :-) after hours of confusion,

Its actually straight forward.

My settings are:

Thecus N3200PRO Settings:
Ltest firmware
Network -> NFS -> Enable NFS
Storage -> Service Folder -> NFS -> ADD :
Hostname: *
Priviledge: Read Only
Access As: Anonymous

TVIX M7000 settings:
Share name: /raid/<your folder name>
Ip: your NAS ip address (local)


Thats all :-)

i have enabled UPNP under Network -> service
but dont know if that was any help.

I could connect through samba as well. :-)
just had to enable it .

Hi, how do you connect TViX M7000A to thecus NAS via SAMBA?
Im trying NFS without any problem but SAMBA failed.
any special setting at Thecus web management?
