    N5200Pro with VMWare ESXi

So I picked up one of those cheapy HP ML115s a few weeks back and am now looking at storage for my VMWare ESXi test box and was wondering if anyone out there has used one as storage for ESXi? If so... did you have any problems, or am I likely to have a breeze of a time with it?

    Dear Sir,

Following link about iSCSI_NFS_Configuration_Guide_for_VMware_ESX_Server.pdf for your reference:

Thanks Yvon - can you confirm that this applies to ESXi also?

Hmm.... well I have it setup, but it's not playing. I've posted this on the Thecus User Group Forums but figured there's no harm posting here as well...

I see from reading the forum that a few people are hooked up using VMWare - are any of you using ESXi, and if so how did you get it to work? My N5200Pro is setup with 10% of the space as data, the rest as iSCSI storage, which is targetable. I point my ESXi box at the n5200's ip address and it seems that the initiator is making contact as it registers it's name on the target webpage, yet it sees no LUNs.

    Any ideas?

...updated to vSphere (aka ESXi 4) and now it works fine.
