N7700 - Cvt from Raid 5+spare to Raid6?

hi

If I have 7 drives, 6 as a raid5 and a 7th as a spare.

I assume if a drive dies, the spare takes effect automatically?

Would switching it to a Raid6 be a better setup?

If so, how do I convert from Raid5 to Raid6?

Dear philhu,

If one drive damages, the spare will take effect automatically.

The system will not allow you to migrate from RAID 5 to RAID 6.
