4100 Pro FTP Passive Mode External IP

    Hy,
I try to get the ftp function working through my router in passive mode.
The router is configures correctly (ports ..)
connection works fine until the client starts passive mode.
The Server sends the internal IP adress to the client and the client can't connect to it.

Is it possible to change the passive mode ip of the ftp server feature ?

    Thanks in advance

    Sky

    Hy,
I don't think so. The Port is open. and it works fine with an other ftp server.

May be, but every server sends his local IP - it's the router task to handle the natted IP traffic correct.
However, every FTP server has some options to correct not RFC compliant Routers - You may want to use the PUREFTPD module (for the N5200, runs fine on the N4100pro) - in the module properties these options can be set.
If You use this module, please deactivate the standard FTP server, then install and enable the module.
