    N5200 WebInterface unavailable - SOLVED

    ___ SOLVED ___

Reset to factory defaults, Web-Interface is back and rebuilding RAID now.

    Hi!

I have a N5200 on 2.00.10 firmware with a degraded Raid 5 and a new blank disk in slot 1.

I can access it via FTP and SMB/CIFS and I can of course ping it, but it does not open the web-frontend. I tried setting it up via the utility and it had changed the password back to default (strange) but I still cant access the frontend.

    Any ideas?

I had to turn it off, the alarm-beep drives me crazy. Any way to turn that off from the panel or something?

    Thanks for your help!

    Thomas

PS: Just tried on https: no response, did a portscan: the 80, 443 and 8080 are all not open. I dont know if they usually are, but the dont show up in network diagnosis from the mac.

    Dear netsaver,

Web-fronted, do you mean web disk?

You can turn off beep alert under Notification in the Web GUI.
