Seems like the current 2.xx series of firmwares do not have GLIBC 2.4 installed, but rather 2.3x. This results in many modern day applications to fail to start complaining about the version of GLIBC.
Did someone else in the forum figure out how to update the GLIBC or upgrade the firmware to something more modern?
If Thecus development team is reading the forum, can you please upgrade the GLIBC on your distro in the next firmware release?
The typical use case involves downloading RAR files from the Internet and trying to unrar them using the Linux version of the command line. But unrar is linked against libstdc++ 6 and glibc 2.4 libraries and therefore cannot run on the N7700's firmware.
Your is greatly appreciated.
