    Re: N2200 Download Manager Missing

I corrected the gateway ip and now the torrents have started to download. The Download Manager's user interface is spartan to say the least. In the screen showing the active torrents the list keeps disappearing then coming back. I think it could use some (a lot of) refinement. Is there any third party BT software which will work on this device?

Can't help you specifically, but I wonder if any of the modules listed on onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/Main_Page can be used on the N2200 - including BT clients...

    Anyone know?

Edit: Would these modules for the 2100 work? onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Module_List

sorry for not having the full url - need to have 5 posts up before posting links. please copy the addy listed into the browser address line and add www dot infront to get them to work.

Sweet, got mine configured as well. It'd be better if there was a folder or something that'd autoload .torrent files from. The client just needs to be fleshed out a bit more.

    Re: N2200 Download Manager Missing

My torrents are downloading at about a tenth of the speed of utorrent. Does anybody know what ports the Thecus BT download manager uses? I thought I might try forwarding these in my router to see if the speed improves. Has anyone got any other ideas?

The port ranges should be listed in the settings menu right next to where you enter the bittorrent section. I might be wrong, but I think they're in the 1900ish range.

    Re: N2200 Download Manager Missing

    Hi,

I´ve also testet the bittorrent DLM. Files are downloaded and seeded fine. But I can´t find them on the disc!?!
The Download Folder is set to "NAS_Public" with no files in it although the web interface shows them.
    What I´m doing wrong?

    regards,
    Martin

    Dear ballistic,

Please click on the clean all button on the BT page and the downloaded file should appear in the designated folder.

    Re: N2200 Download Manager Missing

Finally I managed to download a file.
Probably desperate because not found my files, I gave abort and then clean all.
I hope in the future Thecus will make programs more intuitive and eventually to work faster.
