    BT Speeds

I have downloaded the BT module for my N2200 and my downloads never go over 5kb/sec

I have tried fowarding the ports on my router, I assume its 9000 to 9200 as the settings for torrent range in specify these settings. I have enve tried for a flat foward all rule and nothing seems to increase the speed.

    anyone having the same problems?

also anyone know if they are going to update the DLM2? its horible to use with little to no features at all

    cheers

Same problem here. I tried forward ports and nothing improved. I have given up on it for the moment until a new version of the download manager comes out. Maybe one will be included when they upgrade the firmware. Other Thecus NAS's appear to have BT clients with more features.

yep i have given up as well, ill just have to wait untill the next release

something like the VideoTutorial for the 3200 on the thecus website (i tried to post the link but it wouldnt let me)

I asumed this would already be on the NAS as it seems like the standard BT client for thecus NAS

oh well just have to wait

Im happy to try and give this a go myself but i have not been able to find and documentation on where to start.

    cheers

    Dear All,

Please update N2200 to the latest firmware and DLM2 module from Thecus website

Then try with Fedora torrent from http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/

    Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the reply i will try this out tonite and let you know how i go

just as a side note this issue i did manage to download one file with the client (it was a 10MB file and it took all day) but when the client said it had finished i was unable to find the file, i think i saw some other user were getting a similar issue.

ok it seems like the problem is solved but it wasnt to do with the new firmware, i didnt have UPnP enabled on my router so it looks like the speed problem is solved im now getting around 250kb a sec, which is much better than before. so for everyone else who is having the problem of speed try making sure this is enabled

ok thats fixed the speed problem, however the files dont appear on the share the file finsihed downloading but i doesnt appear on the NAS

    any suggestions?

    cheers

    Dear kyleh0000,

Please click on the clean all button on the BT page and the downloaded files should appear in the designate folder.

ok cool thanks seems to be working now, thats a start

but the ui needs huge improvement, one of the main reasons i got this NAS was because of the video on thecus website showing a bt client that will let you schedule downloads

any news on when this might be updated?

    thanks for your help
