N8800 PRO - iSCSI reliable enough for production data?

I have a server that is running out of space and I am looking for something to store spreadsheets and other office related documents. I have an AD server to do the folder/file permissions. I have about 100 users using the server. I thought iSCSI using a n8800 PRO would be the best solution, but I am concerned with reliability of iSCSI. Is iSCSI reliable enough to store production data on?

I also plan on using the server to store several server backups using Baracuda (use to be Yosomite) backup software, but from I've heard, this server would work great for that purpose.

    Any input/opinions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Tyler
