N7700 and APC UPS

Hi fajo,

that might be the solution, if I can´t get any cable working.

But how can I set your posted settings in acupsd ?
When I start acupsd there pops up a white window with a blue header "Thecus" and the white windows only shows "(no access)" .... ?

Looks like I will have to make some changes to the module for it to work with the 3.x firmware - I will try to provide a fixed package within the next days.

wow, great job! Thank you!

You won´t believe it ;-) my N7700 is connected to the UPS with dumb, 940-0020B and /dev/ttyS0. I havn´t yet tested the 'on-battery-status', but I´m sure it will work!
Connecting and configuring this way was like a 'child's play' compared to Thecus UPS built-in module.
