    n2200 can't start Media Server

Ive bought a nas 2200. I can get the sharing to work but the Media Server will not work. I have enabled the Media Server but in the status page it is showing "Stop". I have tried rebooting the device but this does not help.
Consequently I cannot select the shared folders to share the media in those folders. The screen refreshed but the shared folders do not get their selected tick. The NAS says "Folder Add!" I am able to see the shared folders on my network and have uploaded media files to them. With the Media Server not working this NAS is just a storage device.

Any help would be appreciated. Maybe I've not done something I should have or done something wrong. Please help.

Media server its not working in all models
of Thecus, they used the Mediabolic Mediaserver
in their machines but Mediabolic is no longer giving
    updates or supporting it.

Mediaserver was working in my N5200Pro but
then Index Overflow problem. Long History.

Anyway i spoked with a Technical Support Agent
and they told me that they are going to launch
a new mediaserver for the boxes.

I think it will be for all of them i am not so sure
but at least they told they will launch a new
    mediaserver for the N7700Pro.

The media server on my N0204 works great. I am streaming pictures and movies to my PS3 and I haven't had any problems.

I have over 2000 pictures and about 100 videos stored on my N0204, and I haven't had any problems yet.

    Update 18-12-2009:

I think i have found the solution.
    1. Just format the HD on a pc in ntfs.
    2. Then install the HD in the NAS. The NAS will format the HD in its own format.
    3. Then configure the NAS with most recent wizzard-utility and the new firmware.

Now you can select the shared folders to share the media in those folders. The mediaserver is now running and working.
I hope it will still work when i come home. cross my fingers.
