Thecus N4100 (Evasham Silverstor)
Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me. A couple of years ago I purchased a rebadged Thecus N4100, (Evasham Silverstor) and it been running fine with a raid 5 configuration. However Monday morning (the 14th dec) suddenly no one is able to access their files on the unit, I work in a school and the NAS is used by our photography server to store large files.
Anyway despite being able to ping the unit and still access the admin utility through the browser I'm unable to see the files any longer and there dosen't appear to be a raid array any more. Can some one please help me to recover my raid, many pupils are dependent on the NAS for course work for exams etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Thanks in advance.
Steve.

Via your web browser, navigate to the device and log in as the following user in the USER LOGIN section:
User: admin
Password: whatever your admin password is
If you can see the shares and the files in this view, double check your IP address and the gateway IP. If your IP settings are DYNAMIC, convert to STATIC and ensure that your gateway IP is populated as well as your DNS Server IP addresses.
If you can't see the shares or files, you may have lost the RAID.

Hi,
I can login fine, ping fine and the unit still has all the DNS/gateway etc. I just cant access the shares/files. Is there no way to get the Raid working again? The data must be there..
