    N2200 and DLM2

    Hi all,

Just setup a raid 1 system. Seems to be working so far.

    Installed the DLM2 module.

Managed to get some torrents to upload on the gui.

They even look like they are downloading.

However, they keep disappearing from the gui - then wait for 30secs and they flash back up. Also - I can't find the actual finished files anywhere. How would I get them back!

    Look forward to someones advice.

    Thanks,

    Matt

    Dear matt.huck,

Please click on the clean all button on the BT download page and the downloaded files should appear in the designate folder.

    Re: N2200 and DLM2

once the torrents have finished downloading you need to click the clean all as ivan says

however what your talking about the the flashing up of the torrents is becuase every 30 sec the page is refreashed so they disapear then come back up

you can stop thsi by clicking the stop updates button on the bottom of the page

the torrent interface also only seems to be able to handle 3 torrents at a time any more than that and they will not display them

this is just a few of the problems with the torrent client, the modules are the only bad thing i have found about this NAS the rest if great its just the torrent module and also the usb copy module. DLM2 module is horrible to use and the copy module doesnt seem to work at all.

once they update these to work properly this nas should be a great little buy

    hope this helps

    Re: N2200 and DLM2

    Thanks for the replies.

It is working as you suggest. Is there anyway to move partially downloaded torrents from my desktop to the NAS and continue them on there?

Anyway, I can live with the DLM as it does actually work. There is certainly a lot of scope for improvement though!

    Cheers

    Matt

    Re: N2200 and DLM2

    Just installled the DLM2 module.
Seems to be working but very slow.. I think it peaked at 21 KB/s!!!
Another problem is I set it to save in the 'Movie' folder but the downloaded folder does not appear.

    Anyone got any ideas???

    Thanks

Ok, found some info from IVAN at Thecus:
    http://forums.hexus.net/thecus-care-...missing-2.html
You need to click 'Clean' then it appears.
Worked for me but why do you have to do this in the first place!!!
    Still VERY SLOW.
