    bug found N2200 jumbo frame

    Hi

if I have jumbo frame enabled and I try to access it via my TP-3269 1gig pci card
    under explorer XP windows
it crashes the nas box.. however pinging it prior works just fine.. maybe cos its using standard frame size.

    ive tried 2k,4k and 7k

    all hang it..

    any ideas on this one?

    cheers

Re: bug found N2200 jumbo frame

latest bios installed I forgot to say..
seems stable now if jumbo turned off but I guess slows down the copying across windows shares/netowrks

also.. another problem.. a biggy really.. the webdisk and ftp time out receiving the directories and files
when copying from xp to the nas drive on jbod mode.. cpu maxes at 100% all the time

makes it useless when external ftp users want access if copying files this way.. a real pain
alsothe management console also times out..

dont see a way to tweak or throttle how much cpu or bandwidth is used when using SMB/windows
    which could solve the problem

if had 20% of the cpu free for other tasks.
