N8800 setup

Good day,
I got N8800 with 8 1TB drives, setup in RAID 10 (4TB usable space).

Im planning on migrating about 1TB of data for approximatelly 200 users.

Ive done basic AD setup, and are using ext3 currently. Im having difficulties trying to copy files and permissions.

It is giving me access denied no matter what I do.

Does anyone have a manual or white paper on how to migrate Windows shares over to the N8800. Ill be dumping windows box after the NAS is setup.

All other machines are Windows boxes...so if you have suggestion on better file system that will jive with 2003 / 2008 servers, Im open to ideas.

forgot to mention that I tried migrating files both with xcopy and robocopy (in order to capture permissions too)
