NO503 Security Certificate

Does anyone know of a mod or work around to install a security certificate on the Thecus NO503? The IE security error freaks customers out when trying to use web disk to transfer files. The official Thecus response was:

1. Security Certificate warning can be ignored, since all Thecus NAS uses private security certificate.

2. We do not support Certificate replacement.
