Noobie question: tranferring data from one NAS to another

Hello there. Sorry for the noobie question but here goes:

My Netgear ReadyNas NV+ died recently so I decided to purchase a N4100Pro. My question is, can I just put my 4 1TB drives from the ReadyNas into the N4100Pro? Will my data be preserved?

Great... So do I just have to buy the same Readynas NV again then? Is there a way around this?

Why would you do that? The Thecus far out performs the the ReadyNAS and has more features, has more drive bays and is less expensive.

What is the big deal. Buy a Thecus, fill it with disks move your data over and then throw your ReadyNas in the trash.
