    ZFS Snapshot - Access Denied

Does anyone know how to access the snapshots taken on a ZFS volume on a 7700Pro? The manual says:
"These taken snapshot is only accessible though CIFS/SMB by manually type \\NAS IP address\snapshot and invisible from normal access. Also, the taken snapshot version is read only can not be deleted under CIFS/SMB access but only click the “Del” button showing on the screen shot above."
However, if I type \\192.168.1.100\snapshot (192.168.1.100 is the IP address of my NAS) into Windows Explorer (Win 7, 64 bit), I get a message saying it is not accessible and Network access is denied. I have taken one snapshot. All the shares are properly accessible. Has anyone been able to access snapshots ?

    Dear ozDave,

Did you log in as a local user or via AD account?

Re: ZFS Snapshot - Access Denied

    Ivan,

I am logged in as a local user to my Windows 7 Ultimate machine. I have not set up any users or groups on the Thecus, apart from the default, and there are no ACLs applied on the Thecus. The Thecus is used in a micro-business-based network and there is no active directory.

    Dave

    Dear ozDave,

    Sorry for the late reply.

You will need to login using NAS's username and password.

Please see below link to learn how to remove saved network password:
