    Lifetime warranty transfer? (DDR2 RAM)

I'll be passing on my current PC to a friend soon, and I was wondering if he'd be able to claim warranty if the RAM was to fail, or if I'd have to do it myself as the original purchaser.

Furthermore, does Corsair still offer replacement sticks of DDR2, specifically the XMS2 DHX found here: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/4gb-(...s-5-5-5-18-dhx

There is no requirement to pass over your RAM warranty to a different owner... it's going to be lifetime regardless.

We still have a couple of DDR2 replacement but they are not going to be the DHX series.. replacements are going to be current DDR2 SKU, something like this, XMS series.
