    hp laserjet 5000 print fade

I have a hp laserjet 5000n sitting on our network. Prints fine from windows 2000 machines, and laptops, but when printing from the new xp machines there is print fade at the bottom of the page. Have tried a driver upgrade but to no avail. Anyone know of a cure for this? !!!

    Welcome to the forums.

As 0iD said, try that forum.

Strange problem.. are you using the official HP drivers or ones from Microsoft?

When you say you've upgraded the drivers did you install WinXP as an alternative driver for the print queue? If not it may be that XP is using the 2k drivers which are causing general wonkiness.

Erm, call me stupid, but isn't this the introduce yourself forum?

Or are you introducing your HP Laserjet 5000 to the community? I didn't think there was a human limb optional extra with these printers?
Bored of the old one, new one coming soon
