    test post.

    Sorry.
This is just a test to see if an issue I see is easy to reproduce.

    Sorry guys.
This looked like the best place that I could see to try this out.
I didn't see any testing area.

I figured that the lame subject line would save you from wasting your time reading it.
What with this being a forum for new users to try posting in n'all.

I have already mentioned the percieved issue to one of the administrators. He didn't appear to have a clue as to what I was trying to tell him. Maybe my bad.
I was just trying to get some facts before discussing it further.

I noted that when posting with firefox; and the login-session timed out while composing a reply; I am invited to login again; but upon logging in again I get redirected to 'http://forums.hexus.net/newreply.php' with an error message (instead of returning to the thread that I was replying to).

It is only a little annoying; but I have been composing some long/considered replies and it has been happening every single time.

I have just determined that it does not happen with IE, and that I am too lazy to delve into the http-headers / html-source to find out why it is happening reliably with FF v1.5.0.1.

Close. In my tests in this thread I determined that the timeout occurs within 20mins.

No; I wouldn't normally mention it either.
It is just that I had been composing a lot of long and well thought-through messages so it got me every single time.

It is odd that IE doesn't appear to suffer.
I am too lazy to investigate it further. Too lazy to try an old version of opera or look in the headers.

I needn't have bothered with the detailed messages anyway. In the FSP commercial support forums: I may just as well have been banging my head against a brick wall. The 'support' was useless. The crap NB90 product that I have been trying to get fixed/replaced is basically just crap.
I am never going to be buying any FSP-Group junk again.
