Hey Fellow Hexusians

Hey, jus wanted to say hi to the Hexus community. this site was actually recommended by a pal of mine who is really into computers. I would say i am an intermediate user... Know most of the basic stuff, am looking to build my first pc. I am currently at uni studying Computer aided design and was looking to build a pc that will run most 3d modelling applications smoothly e.g. 3d Studio Max, Autodesk inventor, Alias Studio tools etc.

I am currently on a tight budget and am looking to build a pc for about £400 - £500. Was looking into getting an AMD processor as I am into gaming aswell.... Any recommendations are welcome... Thanx for your help in advance... cheers

Welcome mate. I think you may have to decide exactly what you are going to use the PC for as you may have to spend a bit more than £500.
