Is anyone here using the Steering Wheel and what do you think of it? Is it worth buying?

Still using the controller - i want the steering wheel though - i would imagine it would give you far more precise control of the steering and throttle - which is what you need to be smooth. Smooth = fast!
Butuz
Been using the wheel for about a month now. At first it was hard to get used to and I nearly went back to the pad after a couple of days use, but I stuck at it and now I love the wheel. I've found it can be just as good as the pad if not a little better and it's a lot more fun to.
I would recommend using mounted to a desk though, as it's not all that easy to use on your lap.
i am now forzaing, i know theres pretty much no-one around at the moment but just in case, add me, message me, race me.
iv not played for a week or so, so go easy :)
Just had my first bash at racing online, overall it was good fun, won a couple of races with my NSX :) A couple of idiots about, but that's the norm I guess.
Only problem I came across was that I had to keep changing rooms because the hosts were swapping classes and I only one race ready car at the moment, my B700 NSX.
Could someone recommend 2-3 cars for each class D-A that I could work on, that way I should always have something ready to play with. Also what car should I go for when the host switches to the Nissan raceway track. I tired a couple of D class races with a stock Focus ST and when this track came along everyone switched to old cars, mostly the 2000GT, so I guess that's the one to go for if you want pure speed in D class. What should I get ready for C-A for this track.
Thanks for the help :)
Also does anyone know of any tuning help websites? I think my NSX needs some help and I don't have the first clue when it comes to tuning.

car tuner for you sir, pretty basic but it will get you going
Just a quick notice in case anyone has missed it. the Nissan car pack is now available for free, and the Peugeot 908 is available for 50mspoints.
not overly impressed with the Sentra and Altima, no drivetrain swaps and there both heavy (3000lb+) FWD'ers. free is free though
Been playing the demo for a few days. Bought the game off eBay brand new for £30 the other day.. should be expecting it soon so I shall be joining you lot sometime soon :)
i will be back forza'ing when my get over my civ4 addiction :p
the Nissan stuff is only free because its basically there for promotion of the cars in question. if they had to give them away for free then most DLC just wouldn't be made, at least this way you have the option NOT to buy it.
oh and since it hasnt been mentioned:
1970 Dodge Challenger
Audi Sport Quattro
1966 Lamborghini Miura P400
2007 Nissan 350z
2007 Nissan Altima
2007 Nissan Sentra
Porsche 997 RS
2007 Saturn Sky
2007 Civic Type-R
2006 Civic Si
Mazda MX-5 07
#8 Peugeot 908
#007 DBR9
#8 Audi R10
is a list of cars that "appeared" on the auction house till they were hastily removed by turn 10. the Sentra, Altima, 350z and Pug908 are all out now. but one of the cars on that list looks like its worth waiting for...

WOOO! almost certainly a B class monster :D
umm so anyone that tries to auction the 908 wont work?
they will be in the auction house now yes, but like the ltd edition cars you will only see them to buy them if you can buy them in the game already. the only reason to buy one from there is for the paint jobs people put on them (yeah you can paint it)
Nice one :) I had a little play around with my GTi MK2 and managed to stick a decent time in on Atlanta short, 226th fastest, not bad considering a lot of the time's in front of that were done using the Elan, which has since been nerfed.
Still a little more tweaking needed tho :)
226th is really, really good actually. im currently messing with the R32 Skyline and the Carlton. im used to relatively lightweight cars (my 22b is about 2600lb), but these both seem to work better over 3000lb with more focus on tires and HP... so interesting times
oh and i didnt recommend any cars on purpose, a lot of the fun is trying them for yourself.
I suck at forza 2! I tend to crash into people on corners cause i like using my brakes late :D
And now i cant play it anymore because my 360 makes a noise like it is chewin the disk and then it fails to load everything!! :(
