    Just curious as to the RAID 1 on the SSDs?

    Surely you'd want RAID0 for them, then RAID1 or 5 for storage?

    The end user wanted some form of redundancy, for both OS and Storage.

    RAID1 was used on the SSDs to provide this and also offer higher Read Speeds (ruddy fast!!), it was also used on the storage drives, RAID5 was discussed but it would have required 3 of each drive.
