| Re: 3XS Black Widow The end user wanted some form of redundancy, for both OS and Storage. RAID1 was used on the SSDs to provide this and also offer higher Read Speeds (ruddy fast!!), it was also used on the storage drives, RAID5 was discussed but it would have required 3 of each drive. Cheers |
