    ATX motherboard in E-ATX Case

I have been looking for a replacement case to put my server into and i have found this. To me it looks big enough to be an E-ATX case, I cannot find any information on this case or whether ATX can fit onto E-ATX mounts. The seller doesn't seem to know much about the case and was wondering if any of you knew anything about cases like that?

Yes. I have an ATX motherboard mounted within an E-ATX supporting chassis. Just ensure you have the standoffs and whatnot in the right holes respectively and if the chassis has the correct holes on the motherboard mounting.

If it helps, that looks like a Sun Ultra 20/40 workstation case - I *think* it uses a standard ATX layout internally, but you might want to do a bit of googling and download any documentation you can find.

Thank you, that model number is very helpful. Is the server PSU as seen in this image a standard server size psu?

If that's the internals of the same case, I'd have to say "no," and I'm also rather doubtful it would be electrically compatible with a standard ATX motherboard.

What's more, judging from that image, it looks as though the mobo itself (and the case mountings and cutouts) are a bit different from the ATX standard - there's one PCI slot too few, and the I/O plate looks larger.

I think I'd give it a miss, unless you can get a more detailed description from the vendor.

Too late, I purchased it before I even found the information on it. It looks like it has a removable motherboard tray so I may be able to hack it a bit
