Hi guy,
After a bit of advice. I'm after the above case, and according to ebuyer it supports e-atx, anyone confirm this as it doesn't look big enough
Can't post a link to it, I'm too new

Well I am not sure cause the manufacturers web site doesn't mention any E-ATX support, only mATX and ATX > CASECOM CS-13.
But sometimes the manufacturers forget mention things about they products.
Try to ask the eBuyer support. They a bit slow (took em 2.5 days to reply back to me, even if they apologized).
I was thinking that as it states on the manufacturers website that it supports 3 and 4 way SLI/crossfire that was a good sign. I may ring ebuyer support as bit later and see what they say. seems like a cheap case if it does support eatx!
Looks to me like it would depend on your motherboard. AFAIK e-atx isn't really a "standard", it uses the same mounting holes as ATX but the board can be a little bigger. Looking at the pics of the case on ebuyer I imagine it would take an e-atx motherboard but it would cover all the cable-routing holes, so it'd be cramped and have cables everywhere. Then again, if you look at the mid-tower casecom's they've all got the standard 7 expansion slots, while the cs13 has 8, so it's obviously taller at the least. I reckon it'll take E-ATX, but it'll leave the case a bit cramped inside (like putting a full-atx motherboard inside a cheap mid-tower would )...
It looks very appealing for the price. I would ask some owners on their experience with it and look for some reviews of the chassis before you buy.

Hi,
i took a punt, for 32 quid i thought it was worth a shot! ill let you know when it turns up, i don't currently have an e-atx motherboard but its possible i might cent one in the next few months so doing the process in small chunks!
treated myself to the cold cathode light cit that they have for 3 odd quid, let you know what thats like! should all turn up tomorrow
thanks for all your help!
Hi,
just an update for anyone reading this interested in the case, it is indeed an e-atx case, it is well made and im really impressed with it, taken some pics of the build which ill upload later. i would agree with scaryjim, it will be cramped if you had an e-atx motherboard, but at less than half the price of other cases its a sacrifice!

An E-ATX might just fit, but it doesn't fully support it.
As Scaryjim said eATX isn't really a form factor, basically it covers any motherboard wider than standard ATX 9.6 inches all the way up to eeATX (which is an offical standard) at 12 inches wide, a full eeATX motherboard requires an extra set of screw holes, which this case lacks (you'd want the casecom CL-86 for that)
many eATX motherboards are not the full 12 inch eeATX just a bit wider than the 9.6 inch ATX, many cases can fit these boards, it all depends on the case and board.
Same thing goes for multi way sli/crossfire, it depends on the board and the cards, in theory an mATX motherboard with 4 full length pci-e slots and 4 cards with single slot coolers could support 4way sli/crossfire.
That said the CS13 is a good case from all reports, please do post some images it's always good to get a better look at these.

Hi,
heres a pic of my atx p8z77 in the case, there seems to be another row of screw mounts next to the motherboard that i would assume is for an eatx mobo?

Pob255 (14-02-2013)
just had another look inside the case and in addition to the mounts shown in the pic above, theres holes down the side of the case right on the side of the mobo tray, would need the mounts putting in but it should take the full 12" motherboard, ill let you know how i get on as ill be able to try in a few days!
the set of holes on the far side right next to the drive bays are for e-ATX it would be a very tight squeeze but it would fit.
Your motherboard is the P8z77-v LX which is not eATX infact it's only 8.6 inches wide so it's slightly smaller than standard ATX, that row of unused stand offs to the right of the board is where a normal ATX board would have it's 3rd row of screws
look back at the image I posted, each dot on the diagram represents a screw hole, a normal ATX has 9 screws, EATX has 12 screws and your board only uses 6.
Must admit I'm personally not a fan of those short boards, the lack of support means they flex a bit when trying to plug the 24pin power connector in or remove it.

where is this case made ?
Casecom is a Taiwanese company but the cases are made in china, as are about 90% of computer cases.
They are an OEM case manufacture that recently started retail sales or casecom is a retail subsidiary for an OEM case manufacture. (in the same way that Crucial is a retail subsidiary for the ram manufacture Micron

Completely agree with the flexing, i have to support the board when plugging in the power in fear of snapping it! didnt realise it was actually shorter than standard atx but makes sence now
My full e-atx board has turned up today so itll be a fun weekend trying to get it in its case! this board is the full 12 inch width so its going to be a tight squeeze!

I'll be tight but it does look like it'll fit.
Cableing is going to be an utter the board is going to cover all the holes, it'll be so tight against the drive cages that you'd have to ether not run cables behind the motherboard or run them to the front and through the drive cage, meaning you'll lose a couple of drive slots, if your psu cables are long enough.
While it's more expensive I really would of gone for the CL-86 instead, £76 might seem like a lot more, but that's basically a HAF X for nearly half the price that's great value.
They share so many design clues in their structure that I think casecom ether is the oem of the haf x or has very close links to the oem
