Water Cooled Modded Silverstone TJ06

As the title says here is my modified water cooled TJ06 just thought I would share The most obscure changes are the PSU mounted on the floor pulling in air from the front and exhausting out the base of the case and the the two Thermochill PA160's stacked together at the top, where the PSU and hard drives should be.

Doesnt that PSU have only one 120mm fan? If so did you put another fan to make it exhaust air out?

As with all PSUs with large fans it draws from the bottom and exhausts out the back (when in normal mounting situations) in my case it draws from the front of the case and forces the exhaust out the bottom of the case and into the wild open spaces of my room! No additional fans required!

Thanks Yeah, the main issue was getting it high enough to allow a power cable to plug in... fortunately I had a 90° angled cable which helped a bit but the is still a stand-off/shroud under the unit to make it stand off the desk. The other thing I would have liked it to be closer to the front of the case but the feet would have been in the way and I couldn't see an easy way of moving them and keeping the look of the case externally the same which was what I was after.

The cooling pipework could be simplified a bit if I had a full cover waterblock for the 3870 but I didn't really want one, as it would be card specific whcih makes upgrading graphics card even more expensive.

very nice job webby, love the psu position, can I ask where the heck you moved the hard drives too?

You see that pretty plate of brushed alu at the front? Its one of these http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?WebProductId=537563 took the fan out though and put the hard drives in backwards (to get the cables out the way of the fan on the rad) the is plenty enough airflow from the two 38mm fans on the rads so the extra fan wouldn't have given any benefit
