Installing / Running - Using the basic client - Single core folding
1. Download Folding@home - Download, Install
2. Enter your username (search f@h site to make sure it's unique)
3. Enter 69776 as the team number.
4. Enter your passkey (get one here: https://apps.foldingathome.org/getpasskey)

Added the F@H team ID to mine this morning when I got in.

Fingers crossed it should have done the first unit later today

Hmm.. mine's been folding since early evening yesterday and I entered the Hexus team ID when I set it up.. does it take a while for members to show up (or is my digital hallitosis stopping me from showing?)

I've never actually done any distributed computing before so I'm not sure if this is something to be concerned about or not.

My MCE media rig is flying through these work units now and the display shows no WU returned yet the stats show 4 WU done and dusted.

Ahh well - fingers crossed I'll get it on more than 1 system soon and crunch a few more units

It does take a while before the team page shows members.

you only show up once you've completed a WU... I appeared late last night when my work rig completed one.

ok... Redlight proves that one wrong... but i had been folding on this one for 2 days!

^^That's one of the reasons I queried it - Redlight's 0 - anyway, not to worry, I'm within a couple of hours of finishing my first WU!

I have completed a large WU and it has been trying to sent the result for over a day and I will be finished another large one tonight.

Edit just checked I am up there twice I am getting confused now. Maybe because I altered my name as i was folding for another forum a while back.

I was resting my system for a day or two as I seem to be having a few issues with the odd BSOD appearing. I've figured out it's probably down to my 2.5 year old windows install and plan to format in the future.

Yes, two ways:

1) Using the beta SMP client.

2) Launching two console-only clients, each configured to a seperate machine ID.
