After half watching the top gear episode last night, where they drove economically from Swissland - Blackpool, this got me thinking, if I really tried what could I achieve?
This thought was helped also by 3 sets of average speed cameras and the M25/23 combo.
So I give you the results! (Pic was taken by a co-worker)
Now before Howard explodes and goes off on another one in the petrol/derv thread I have actually worked it out, and the trip comp read out is being slightly optimistic, but its only out by 2 ish mpg!
Also to achieve this I wasnt coasting down a hill either!
The route was from my office in Hook to the Sussex police HQ near Brighton (approx 94 miles each way).
Soo . . . the question stands, whats the best/highest MPG over (a decent/and NOT down a hill!) you have got?
