Why i now HATE MW2 (yes my tune has changed)

It was all fun up untill these past couple of days - UNBELIEABLE LAG ( well i assume its lag) if i turn to quickly the game locks up, when i die and it go's onto kill cam the game locks up, i move forward the game locks up! i am so tempted to throw the disk onto the fire! biggest waste of 40 pounds of my life considering i only got about 20 hours otu of it.

maybe it's your PC? corrupt install? does SP run fine?

My hate for the game from my experience is the current attraction everyone seems to have with the dual sawn-off shotguns. Apparently its hilarious to run round the map using them like its pr0 when in actual fact it does nothing but ruins the game :/ I hope the damage and/or accuracy gets toned down as at the moment its an absolute joke.

That could well be a ram issue in your PC or on your graphics card (start with system ram though) run memtest (google for it). Or if you stick your Windows installation disc in (7 or Vista) and boot from that then select repair from the menu after language settings there is a memory diagnostic tool on there.

And this is where the people who wanted to be able to mod the game get their point proven. There is always some weapon which ruins these games once it inevitably starts getting abused.

Does sound like your having a hardware or software issue though watforddude i dont think the game itself is too blame

il turn it off make sure the graphics card is seated properly and take out and put it the ram again, Frontlies ran absolutely fine..

Nope its not a hardware issue, just played Cod4 on madhouse free for all with 20 people in it and it was fine there, deffently the game.

Yeah - I've noticed a lot of players using a riot shield as their "primary" weapon to protect their backs and using their secondary "dual shotguns" permanently while running around like loons. Not noticed any particular advantage though - at anything other than short range they are useless.

Or a semtex grenade and you stick it to them and watch them hit the floor

Riot shield is useless against the Semtex Grenade. Even if they run at your with the shield hit them with the semtex nade, watch it go off the shield drops and you plough in with a headshot or a knife to the face

And before any of you console boys or those who have it on PC chime in and say something, I have played it on the 360 and enjoyed Single Player although not enjoying multiplayer all that much.
