I hope these are as good quality as everyone makes out as I've bought some for the other half for xmas but to be fair they do seem fantastic value for money. Granted, if you wanted to spend £150 then fair enough but I'm planning on spending £40 so these are perfect! Will let you know if they live up to my high expecations after xmas
Can't post the links before 5 posts what the fudge!
I bought mine 11 months ago and I didn't have any quibbles with them... although 10 months down the line mine started doing this:

I know Overclockers and Amazon honoured their warrantys and got their customers replacement speakers. I'm just hoping SCAN will do the same, although I have noticed they have removed them from stock and the website which makes me wonder whether they're aware of the issue already. Cracking!
Since this thread appeared on my search I'm sure others may benefit from this - If you have a soldering iron, you can actually repair it using this technique: http://www.instructables.com/id/Fixi...200-Crackling/
This guy entered a fix & improvement contest, and this fix worked for those who's warrantys expired/were competent enough to perform surgery on the board. I must say, I'm impressed he went for it and all the best to him.
