Mission is yet to be decided, but it's likely to be PvP

Looks like the mission will be a serious giggle. I'm going to have a go at building it tonight. The premise is simple a rally/race:

Everyone is in two man teams. One navigates, the other drives.

On the map there will be waypoint markers. You must drive to each waypoint marker, and once arriving search the area for the next vehicle.

Once you've found the next vehicle you must get into it and race to the next waypoint.

You *must* change vehicle at each waypoint.

There will be no shooting, though ramming and comms abuse is heartily encouraged.

You will have to make a choice between taking roads, or going off road. The shortest route might not be the quickest.

First to finish in the correct vehicle as a pair wins.

DON'T get stuck/bellied out on any rocks.... saofg/Bish and I spent ages stuck on a rock in ARMA 2 recently... was less than funny

Right - quick update.

Some of the iGi lads playtested it and whilst it was fun, it needed a little more... zing.

So, I added mounted guns to some of the vehicles. Navigator now has a choice, spend time shooting or spend time with their head in the map. Too much of either has consequences.

If you die, you respawn where you died after 5 seconds. Same for vehicles when destroyed. Any abandoned vehicle will respawn at it's starting point after 2 mins.

Also - the final leg of the mission is a bit different. For the final leg its every man for themselves since the final vehicles only have one player slot. Every other has at least two... At the end there's an F35 - first to get in it wins.
