To continue on from the other thread, i haven't made it very easy for you guys to provide me with good service but nevertheless you have done it anyway
(there was one small exception of your staff being rude to my GF... or so she says, she is a bit sensitive at times)

Couldn't disagree more, by far the worst I've ever experienced from any online retailer.
im not sure adjusting by volume of sales makes it fair; the fact that Scan can maintain an excellent overall percentage of satisfied customers with their RMA and service process, even with a much larger volume of sales, solidifies the validity of the award. Its probably a lot easier for a company to maintain decent customer service when their volume of sales is considerably smaller due to the ease of pressure on the employees involved and the reduced levels of bureaucracy you would find in a smaller company.
In general from reading threads on the scan forum complaining about their RMA process, 90% of them are from people who are in the wrong anyway but too stubborn to admit it... im not saying you were one of them mind, just keep in mind disturbed guys comment.
We have a perfect sample of information here... your the only one in the thread complaining about it and everyone else thinks its great. No company will be perfect its just unfortunate you are part of the few who experienced the other side.

Scan's service has been top notch, well the sales side, I on the other hand did fall on the other side as you say mate, it wasn't the best of RMA's lets say for a board that was faulty and as such diagnosed to be.
We got there in the end after a while, did leave a bitter taste in the mouth.
Anyway, Scan Congrats!

Didn't expect any other retailer to win this scan! You've been awesome with all my RMA's and I unfortunately can't remember names but the tech // customer service people I've dealt with have been awesome!

I question statements like this. If "something goes right" you should not need to say anything because that is part of the expected customer service, they are doing 'what it says on the tin'.
"People are quick to post and complain about problems" - if they don't they would never solve them. If you feel you are not getting the service you expect then you should speak up. Or maybe you think we need to be more British and keep quiet on these things?
I've seen these statements a number of times on these forums and personally, I think they're meaningless. Not only because good customer service should ALWAYS be offered, but it seems that more people praise Scan than complain as it is anyway on the forums.
If some people complain it should only result in Scan working harder to resolve them. Customer service that goes above and beyond deserves praise. I don't praise members of staff everytime I buy something from a supermarket.

I've been a customer since Scan was based in a little warehouse near Radcliffe, and I've never been disappointed - except with the move to Bolton as it's further away from me, lol.
