Logitech G15 Keyboard

I've just been told that the G15 Keyboards that I've been waiting to come into stock over the past few days have all been allocated.

This is a tad annoying, as I phoned on Monday to order one, but was told to phone back when the stock came in (originally late Monday, then Tuesday, and now Today, Wednesday). I also phoned on Tuesday and also earlier today, each time being effectively turned away being told to call back later when the stock had arrived.

Then eventually I get told that actually all 25 have already been allocated, and I'm gonna have to wait till next week before another 100 are coming in.

Nothing can be done now, but have to say, I'm a bit pissed off, considering I cancelled an order with Dabs because Scan were getting the stock in first...

The back order has been over 25 for a while, so that was probably the logic behind you being told this, all in all we probably told you this for your own benifit, as you could have found one elsewhere and then decided to cancel the order and then wait 3 days for the refund to go through ... so although i get what you are saying, if you did find one elsewhere then this would have benefited you, as we would be more than happy to take the order and put it on back order .. chances are most of the stock that arrives next week will be before other suppliers anyway..

Yea, don't worry about it, I've sourced it from somewhere else. It was just a bit annoying that's all, i.e. it was phrased in a manner so that I was lead to believe that I'd be able to order one, the next day each time, because then they'd be in stock by then. It was only the chap I talked to this afternoon that mentioned "but it looks like they've already been allocated and so you'll be waiting till next week anyway"

I mean I appreciate that your sales people didn't try and lure me into placing an order, knowing that I wouldn't get it for a week or so, but that extra bit of info would've meant I could order it else where (not great for you guys)

NP , i agree that it should have been delt with a little better, but it was meant with the best intentions as we could have just taken your money and put you on the list , but yes a little more info into why would have been best, but appologies if you were inconvinenced in any way ...

I'm also interested in the keyboard like 25 others. I haven't placed an order, i want to get some other things, when do you think you will have any in stock for those who haven't put it on order?
