    Logitech get serious about gaming - G15 keyboard

    Mice and keyboard geared towards gamers are nothing new, but there's been a surge in both product numbers and innovation recently as online gaming has become more mainstream. Tech Digest reports on a new gamers keyboard from Logitech.
    The G15 keyboard sports illuminated keys, programmable macros and even a back-lit LCD screen which can be tied into the user’s choice of program to display anything from CPU usage to MP3 info or team mate chat. The 18 macro buttons can be programmed in game to generate any series of button presses and there are even three different ‘states’ these can be in to put the total number of functions up to 54.
    I'd lose track of all the functions and end up playing pass the grenade with my team-mates.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Looks like something you could make music on, plus it wouldn't fit on my desk. Still waiting for my Logitech UltraX keyboard to come from SCAN!

    Nowt new there then Steve

    I cannot wait to get my grubby mitts on one of these. I can then finally have a keyboard which sort of matches my PC and rest of the setup instead of using a cherry keyboard.

    Yeah, also tempted. I've ignored most of the new typey offers because of my black cherry. It may not be fancy, but its a damn good keyboard.

    But I'm starting to consider that out of all these spangly new ones there must be some really brilliant keyboards. Hmm.

    They'll sell like hot cakes!!! There has been a massive interest in this keyboard. Hopefully Scan's will have thought ahead of this.

    Wait. $80 = £80 right?

    [Okay, maybe not, but I am skeptical that we'll get it for any less than £55]

    Blimey, thats a monster. I don't like the look of it personally and the only buttons i ever use on keyboards i use is the volume. Not for me!
