    Mozilla bookmarks where are they?

    Need to find the Mozilla Bookmarks in my old OS which is just a slave HDD now, know where to get IE7 from via Documents & settings, but Mozilla was the main browser and there does not appear to be a "Favourites" folder like IE. All folders set to "show hidden files and folders"

    should be:
    <drive letter>:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\bookmarks.html

    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Bookmarks.html

    bookmarks.html is kept in C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\ in Windows 2000/XP

    If you use the Bookmarks Manager, you can Import and Export the bookmarks, but copying bookmarks.html shouldn't be a problem.

    Easy way to get to the directory shown above:

    Start > Run > %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

    There'll then be a blahblah.default folder. Within there is boomarks.html

    Or you can do
    Bookmarks -> Organise
    Then File -> Export

    If you like a pretty interface

    Re: Mozilla bookmarks where are they?

    Try 'My Documents', there might be a Outlook data folder in there like there is for Office Outlook.
