    Cloning Vista?

    The guide on Microsoft.com doesn't seem to help much - http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...81082&SiteID=1

    ... you can't clone with Ghost.

    Any ideas?

    its an issue of how you address a HDD.

    NT has always (since 3.51 that i know of) used the same boot.ini description, thats on the first drive, which the old DOS style boot sector init.

    BCD dosen't work like this.

    But you can get some similar behaviour, with the BCD boot device. This is what alan's talking about in that link. In short you need to do this on the computer (with BCD working) before you restore image, or via a PE (pre-install environment) CD.

    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();
