Am really keen to get one of these cases and air cool - but maybe I look at w/c again

Other question: what is occupying 3/4 of the 5.25 bays below the optical drives?

You must have had fun building that BTW.........

Well.... what can I say guys? looks truly amazing!

Thanks very much to all the team for the endless advice choosing my final spec and a very swift pro looking build.

And yes, I have taken the rest of the week off work

    I'll keep you posted.

    Much love, Shub.

Re: Shub's - 3XS Black Widow Build (watercooled)

    Hi all,

My Black Widows still running well and eating all that come its way you'll be glad to hear!

I was wondering if my coolant reservoir might be due for a top up? I cant remember how much was in it when it arrived tbh, but if I knock the desk and the PC wobbles a bit, you can hear it suck a bit of air through the pump.

Time for a top up you think?

If so, could you link me to the brand/type of coolant that was used in my build please.

    Thanks very much.

    Hi Shub,

It’s great to hear the systems still running strong

The fluid used in your build is Feser One Fluid, I actually have half a bottle here left over from a review system, if you like I can city link this out for you?

    Cheers

    Hi philip,
Thank you very much for that kind offer! but I have already orderd a bottle of what I thought the coolant would most likely be, and ordered the right one.
Keep the half bottle for your next review build

    Thanks for the offer/info.

Re: Shub's - 3XS Black Widow Build (watercooled)

    Hi Philip,

Very bad news I'm afraid to say,

I've recently had a few graphics issues and been windows blue screened a couple of times, I put this down to a bad driver (didn't bother posting) and downloaded and installed the latest one again, but tonight I had the same problems, games would visually mess up and then crash multiple times, then I got blue screened again, I took the side off my machine to see if I could see any problems and was horrified (as I'm sure you will be) to find this.

Obviously I immediately powered down and unplugged and have not used it since, as far as i can see it appears to be the lower tube on the CPU that is leaking and appears thankfully to have only leaked a small amount onto the upper GPU (thankfully dint get as far as the PSU), how long this has been happening for im unsure, I havent had the side off for a while, it seems to only be leaking when under pressure and only a tiny bit.

Could you please reply asap with any advice you can give on where I stand as a customer, any scan or manufacturer warranties that apply or any advice about what to do, I'm pretty worried.

Note. I have not tampered with the inside of the machine at all in any way, I've only had the side off the machine 5-6 times (to show people) since it arrived, and I was extremely careful when I removed the delivery padding it had inside on arrival.

    Thanks, Shub.
