AB9 Quad GT - not able to Install Windows

Just bought a new setup:

Abit AB9 Quad GT - I still use the Bios Ver. 10
2x 1 GB OCZ 1066-555 XTC Nvid K2
500 GB Samsung SAT2 HD501LJ
Asus EN8800GTS
Enermax Infiniti 720W
Intel E6300
Logitech DiNovo Desktop

nothing else is currently build in the system...!


I built it together and it starts - but I cannot install Windows (doesn't matter if it is XP or Vista). It always gets stuck at the same point:

When booting from the Windows CD, it tries to look up the current hardware configuration. And this is where it ALWAYS hangs - I only see a black screen from this point on. Even leaving the computer turned on for several hours does not help :-(

I read that updating to a new Bios could help. Where can I find a newer version and which one should I use?

also check what voltage has been set for RAM (probably the JEDEC 1.8V) compared to what the RAM manufacturer recommends (probably ~2.0V).
