in9 max, usb bug code error vista

Hi All, Ive installed Vista on my system, but every now and then when i put it into sleep or shut down, it comes up with the blue screen of death saying usb bugcode error. Ive installed only the chipset and the graphic drivers so it just a bare install and i still get the error, ive tried all different bioses with no joy.

    system specs are:
    Abit in9 max
    core 2 duo E6600
    Ballistix Tracer 6400
    Benq DVDRW
    Seagate HDD
    Creative XFI sound card
    Ocz gamexstream 700w PS

Im not overclocking and have also tried corsair 6400 memory, different hdd, i ve tried just using the onboard sound, with no difference i just keep getting this error, i dont know if the board is damaged, no error code on the led on the board. It also used to just shut down without warning having recovered form a serious error and windows would always say its a driver, but not which one as usual. but ive only installed chipset and graphic drivers. Anyone with any ideas?
    Thanks

ONe word x-fi=vista? Nah just kidding.

What do you mean tried al lthe latest bios? have you tried the latest BETA bios?

In additionm have you downloaded the latest 680I CHIPSET drivers from nvidia? Can you do me a favour and try these please, and if you have the same problem, let me know. Knowing vista it could be a vista problem, try the suggestions first though bud.

As I have thsi motherboard and a quad 6600 and i have no problems using BETA BIOS 21ST of MAY 2007

    Thanks for replying gilgamesh
Ive tried the latest Nvidia drivers, but it used to crash in XP aswell and get an error saying driver, going by the bugcode error windows says its an hardware fault. Ive tried all the bioses including the betas, all with the same result. Ive tried it without the xfi card and using the onboard sound, also tried different graphic cards aswell.
