Question Abit VA - High Density RAM?

    Hi all,

I've tried contacting Abit directly, but haven't heard back. Does anyone know if the Abit VA10 accepts High Density RAM?

I can't see anything on their site about it!?

    Any help welcome!

High density RAM was introduce after the VA-10 was discontinued so there was never any compatiblity testing done.

I don't believe the RAM would work and even if it did you may not be able to use it to its full potential.

Damn, not what I was hoping to hear. Are there any plans, or is it possible to test high density RAM?

As I mentioned before the VA-10 has been discontinued. I doubt that we have any in the warehouse to do testing with.

I believe the memory if it worked would only register half.

Ok, no problems. Just thought I'd ask.

Ok, no problem. Replacing my 1GB Low Density with 2GB High Density won't see an increase then.

Thanks for your help and honesty Sean!
