im not sure if this is the place, but im getitng problem after problem and this place helps alot lol
anyway it all works now, i uped the voltage to the RAM and it all installed and worked
only problem is now is that most of the stuff i run for instance internet explorer and Firefox, somtimes msn and my ffxi game it says "sorry this program has encountered and error and needs to shut down.... send error report, dont send error report" that thing. and it keeps doing it....
also if i try to open a page with java on it. it shuts down. i cant install java cause of somthing called Data1.cab which i have no idea what it is
    can anyone help me?
    thanks in advance

I think that I would probably go for an OS reinstall/repair ...
If you do use the error reporting if you track th error it may give you an idea as to the cause (driver etc.).

    Unusual

Usually i would point the finger at your ram! However if I were you i would try this. Do as desk build, I.E build the computer outside of your case, then you do not have to worry about getting the slots for your gpu right. If it still happens then then you can point the finger elsewhere i.e your ram.

NOTE: DUH ME to test he above out all you needto do is take of the graphics cards mounting bracket
then its a simple matter of just slotting it in without the bracket causing problems. If it slots in fine, it could be faulty ram, if indeed the problems still continues.

not a matter of that mate, as I do not know what make you have. However if as youy point out that it works with one module of memeory in but not the second, this would indeed point that the latter is faulty.
