AW9D-MAX hangs on reboot at 25 and 6f

I finished putting together a system with:
AW9D-MAX
Q6600
2GB Corsair Value Select
Audigy 2 ZS
HIS X1800 GTO
Seasonic S12 600
Sony IDE DVDROM
Seagate 7200.7 80GB SATA (port 1)
Seagate 7200.7 160GB SATA (port 2)

The BIOS was originally version 12 and was flashed up to 15 (to get full support for the Q6600).

It boots up fine on first boot but on exiting the BIOS or being restarted it will hang at code 6F (BIOS 12) or 25 or 6F (BIOS 15) but only on the first restart, if I restart it a second time it will boot fine. In addition I always get a CMOS checksum error informing me settings have been reset to default (I can't change any BIOS settings cos they don't save).

Any ideas?
